Live Video Streaming

Yardian is not only a smart sprinkler controller, but also an HD security camera. The Yardian app provides P2P (Peer to Peer) live video streaming directly from the Yardian device to your smartphone without any complicated network settings. Your video stream goes through a direct channel with proprietary encryption, and no video goes to our cloud servers.

Motion Detection

You can turn on "video cloud recording" from the "Video Settings". Please click the "menu button" on the upper right corner in the Video tab to access the setting page. We currently offer a FREE 1-day cloud video recording for video clips triggered by motion. By enabling this feature, you agree to save your video clips remotely in Aeon Matrix's cloud. You can access your video clips on your smartphone from anywhere.

You can also choose to turn on/off push notifications to your smartphone by toggling the "Alert" button.

The "Sensitivity" and "Threshold" settings determine what will be registered as "motion" from Yardian's camera. You can customize your settings to your preference.

"Sensitivity" - It's defined as sensitivity to background changes. It's suggested to start with 50.
"Threshold" - The higher the threshold, the larger the object required to trigger an event in motion detection. It's suggested to start with 5.

Please remember to save the settings if you make any changes.

Video History

You can click the snapshots in the "History" tab to view video clips.

Download Video Clips

You can download video clips in your "Video History" through the Yardian Web App. Please log in with your "Yardian App" account, go to the "Video" tab, then you can click the "download icon" on the video player.

Animal Repellent Feature

Keep unwanted animals off your lawn with Yardian's Repellent feature. Simply set the desired zone and duration, and your sprinklers will automatically activate when they detect motion.

You can turn on "Enable Repellent" from the "Video Settings". Please click the "menu button" on the upper right corner in the Video tab to access the setting page. You need to specify the zone and duration to run when a motion is detected by the camera.
