What is Water Hammer?
A water hammer occurs when a valve or faucet closes suddenly, generating a pressure wave in the pipe. This could cause thumping or pounding noises, vibrations, and even pipe collapse.
The Water Hammer Reduction feature allows you to specify up to 30 seconds of overlap between zones. We recommend starting with 10 seconds of overlap first to activate this feature and then adjust based on your needs. The default 0 second setting means the Water Hammer Reduction is not activated.
This feature will be applied to both the Smart Program and Manual Programs.
Setup
Step 1. Click the menu in "Program" tab:
Step 2. Specify the overlapping duration. Then click "Back" to save the changes
