    Hi Jim,

When using the Smart Program, you have the option to enable or disable the Water Restriction feature in the settings page of the program. Combining a Manual Program to run on specific days could be a solution but will  still violate your local regulations.

Thanks for the quick reply. So… it sounds like it won’t do what I want. There can be only one smart program, and it applies to all zones whether they’re grass, shrubs, sprinklers, drip emitters, misters, etc.

I need to restrict watering of grass only (but not shrubs) to Mondays & Thursdays, but drip systems can run any day for any amount of time. Therefore, my grass zones must be on a manual program; they can’t be on the smart program. Or, if the grass is on the smart program with regional restrictions, those restrictions will apply to drip zones as well, which I don’t want.

    Too bad. :-(

    Hi Jim,

We have only one Smart Program and we don't have the option to specify which zones should comply to the rules. However, we can exclude the drip system from the restrictions. Please contact us at support@aeonmatrix.com and let me know your zip code. I will check your local rules and get back to you.

    Best regards,
    Joseph

Good news: my town just rescinded the daily water restrictions, so the problem solved itself. Thanks for the help anyway.
