account activation

how long does it take to get the account activation email? its been 4 hours and numerous "resend" and still nothing. in the mean time i have already installed my yardian and i will miss a watering cycle if i cannot log in. whats going on? and yes i have been checking my spam folder and still nothing. i have tried this from ios and mac using the website.

  ok it seems like either you guys are not sending emails to gmail.com addresses or google is blocking your domain. i signed up using a outlook.com account and i got the verification/activation email. the problem is now, i DO NOT want to use my outlook.com account for yardian and it doesn't seem like i can change it. i logged into my profile and my user id is grayed out
