HomeKit integration is failing
Followed all the steps with troubleshooting homekit addition with no success. Yardian pro successfully connects to the internet and HomeKit errors out telling that connection could not be established network error.
I am on the latest firmware as well

Hi Rupesh,
I believe you have tried factory resetting the Yardian Pro as indicated on the following page:
https://www.yardian.com/yardian-and-apple-homekit/We have experienced various issues with HomeKit (which is entirely controlled by Apple), but one of the solutions is to reboot your iPhone before scanning the QR code. Please give it a try and let us know if this works for you. Thanks!

I've dealing with this all day. I've rebooted the iPhone as you suggest to no avail. I've tried the USB network config. That did not work either. All my other HomeKit devices work. I have lights, TV, fan, outlets. All working fine, but yours. At this point I just want the thing on the network so I can have access from the app.

Hi Alvaro,
Have you tried "factory reset" the Yardian Pro, restart the Apple Home app then scan the QR code again?
I noticed that your firmware was updated to the latest version. Have you ever connected the Yardian online? Did the Wi-Fi connection suddenly get lost?
Best regards,

Hi Rupesh,
Please provide your Yardian ID to support@aeonmatrix.com.
We can't look into the Apple HomeKit issue since it's Apple's product, and it's quite complicated.
We will need more information from you in order to help.Best regards,

Joseph,
I connected the device via Ethernet to my network by temporarily plugging it to my router. That’s how I was able to upgrade the firmware. I can’t have the router in the garage. I was hoping that one I could configure the device, I was able to login to WiFi. How do you reset it to factory settings?

I was able to do a factory reset by holding the wifi button for 10 seconds. After that I rebooted my iPhone and once back up I added a new accessory to Home Kit by scanning the label on the controller. I got a message that it was connecting, all this while the lights on the device flicker from blue to green. After about 40 seconds or so, I got a message on the iPhone saying that the device could not be found.

I was able to resolve this issue.. not sure the exact steps.. but here it how I vaguely remember doing it
1. Reset the device
2. connect the device to ethernet
3. add to homekit
4. disconnect ethernet
5 reset just the network settings (not factory reset the unit)
6. homekit app does let you update the wifi config on the device (since it is already added to homekit)
voila! the device is connected to wifi! and it stayed that way so far!
Good luck!
