New user with rain sensor

Hi, Ive set up my new Yardian Pro and most things seem fine. I have 4 zones. 1 garden, 1 lawn and 2 are pots under cover on decks. I have the lawn and the garden set up with a smart program and the deck zones have a manual program. Because the deck zones do not get any rain, they need to be watered regardless of rain fall. Currently the rain sensor I have connected stops all zones from watering. Is there a way to apply the rain sensor to only specific zones? Also, despite having rain sensor turned off in skip rules the zones are skipped when the sensor is triggered. Thanks for any help
