Volumetric Flow via Flow Sensor

If a Flow Rate sensor is connected, the water usage for a zone’s sprinkler heads should automatically default to Volumetric Calculation, just tell the app how many sprinkler heads are in the zone.

  Hi Michael,

  Volumetric Flow Rate and Application Rate are two ways to specify sprinkler head characteristics. This specification is independent of whether a flow sensor is present or not. If a flow sensor is used, the app will show both estimated and flow sensor measured water usage.

  I was suggesting a third option: to have the system use the metered Flow Rate (if connected) and Zone Square Footage to do this calculation (either in real time or using the Baseline rate).

  Thank you for your suggestions. We could incorporate a volumetric flow rate (per head) calculated from the flow meter data. This addition could provide valuable information for certain users!
