Installation Help needed for Everydrop 1004-EX

I just got this in my hands to replace a new Rainbird FG100 that never seemed to ever work.

The install instructions for the 1004EX on cover Spruce and Rachio.   For Rachio:

- Meter Red Wire to either Sensor S1 or S2

- Meter Black Wire to 24 VAC (?!?)

Mind you - when I installed the FG100, both leads of the flow meter went into both terminals of S1. I'm beginning to wonder if the FG100 never worked at all because it too wants one of the meter leads either heading to Common,  or 24 VAC.

  Hi James,

  We used to support the 1104-EX bundle, which includes the Model 1004-EX (without a local display) and the Universal Meter Interface (UMI). It appears that this bundle is no longer available from Everydrop.

  We recommend the following Hunter flow meters:

  • HC-075-FLOW 3/4" (1 pulse per 0.1 gallon)
  • HC-100-FLOW 1" (1 pulse per gallon)
  • HC-150-FLOW 1.5" (1 pulse per gallon)
  • HC-200-FLOW 2" (1 pulse per gallon)"
